What would you like to discuss related to this year’s topic?

Following author Han Kang’s Nobel Prize in Literature, global interest in Asian literature—particularly from publishers in the English-speaking and European markets—has been steadily growing. I would like to share ideas on how we can sustain this momentum and further expand the presence of Asian literature in those markets. I am also eager to discuss the strategies we are currently developing to enter and grow in the global publishing landscape.

Your Company Profile Dasan Books

Dasan Books was founded in February 2004, inspired by the spirit of compassion for the people and the practical philosophy of Jeong Yak-yong, one of Korea’s most revered scholars. Since its founding, the company has expanded beyond traditional publishing into various content industries, including digital media, entertainment, education, and new media.

Under the mission “The Joy of Story,” Dasan Books continues to lead the publishing industry with its creative concept development capabilities.
