Work Experience in Publishing
I have been worded in Jieli Publishing House more than 8 years and I am in charge of International copyrights cooperation. Since 2016, I have set up cooperations with many international partners from Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, United Ara Emirates, Kazakhstan, etc. And have licensed copyrights more than 300 titles. Other than that, I usually went to some international books fairs annually to learn more about current situations of book market by several countries, such as Beijing International Book Fair, Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair, Indonesian International Book Fair, ABU Dhabi International Book Fair and so on. In a word, I have established long-standing and stable friendship with partners from many Asian Publishing Houses.
Current Projects
In charge of Asian copyright cooperations, such as, one of a unique title from our company which was licensed to Korea, the Korean version has been sold more than 23000 copies at the moment. At present, this is a very important project for me.
JIELI has one branch in Egypt to translate and publish Arabic version books, and I am responsible for the whole process of this project.
Baek Hee-na, Korean famous writers. She always is the most important partner for our company. We have been cooperated with her for several years and published many works by her in Chinese Version.
Suzy Lee, the winner of 2022 Hans Christian Andersen Award. We invited her with Cao Wenxuan, which is the winner of 2016 Hans Christian Andersen Award from China, to create a title, named The Magic Canvas. Now we are still looking forward to cooperating with her to publish more excellent works.
Except for the mentioned above, we have others important projects, such as, Usborne UK, which is our strategic partner, and Barbapapa, The Little Mole, The Smurfs, Kazuo Iwamura’s Works, Yoko Sano’s Works, Claude Ponti, Friend of Science Classic Series, Adventure Fictions by Gary Paulsen, Survival Readings by Bear Grylls, Richard Osman’s Works and so on.

JIELI Publishing House (JIELI) was founded in 1990, it is a publishing organization specializing in children and adolescence books. JIELI has set up three branches including pre-school, middle grade and young adult, with an average of nearly 500 books published annually.
